About Me
Sunny G is not just my alias but is the favorite name with my friends and I love being referred as Sunny rather than (Suresh Gupta, the name as per records and academics) in the cyberspace.
During my childhood I used to toy with various gadgets & equipment, most of which ended as junk after going under my screwdrivers and force-ups. As I grew up being scholastic, I realized I could do some justice to my Technical Skills and I managed to get Technically Qualified. I completed my Engineering in the discipline of Agricultural Engineering and my Career started taking shape. Having got my first Job in 1996 just after completing my Engineering I considered all achieved but soon realised it was starting of a new Journey, A Beginning of Professional Life.
Since then it’s been a Journey full of experience, knowledge, challenges, highs and lows. During these years I have added Academic Degrees to my Qualifications; attained Professional Certifications; associated with Prestigious Bodies; teamed up with renowned Academicians; worked with more than 200 brands worldwide, in nutshell have tasted and enjoyed Success and I know this is not the End as still the Journey has to Go On….
Since my first encounter with computers in 1990, I have been passionate about the Information Technology & Software Engineering. As a result of my passion I explored a lot and worked in variety of technologies. In past many times I started listing the Technologies, Tools and Skills but most of the times could not hold my nerves and patience after 2 – 3 hours of effort. And now I am not interested in doing so any more as the list is growing every year (lol)… But to give you guys an idea the first flavour of Microsoft Office I used was Office 4 and these days I am using Office 2016 which is 10th version of Microsoft Office and I have used almost all the versions of Office. Another mention worthwhile is I first used Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 and these days working with MS SQL Server 2014 (8th version since then)… so you guys see I was not Joking and thus the list goes on and on.
As of date having almost 20 Years’ experience in Technology, Development and Management domains at various organization levels, I am heading the Technology & Development Operations as AVP (Technology & Development) at Revenue Technology Services (RTS). In my current role I am responsible for defining & implementing the best practices of Software Development.
As mentioned above also, Academically I hold Bachelors in Technology (Agricultural Engineering), Masters in Information Technology, Masters in Business Administration (Systems & HR) and Masters in Technology (Network Security). I am proud to have several Microsoft Certifications including Microsoft Solutions Expert, Microsoft Specialist, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate and many other professional certifications.
